Aftermarket GRACO® 25D175 Packing Set, throat T/PE (Non-OEM)

Manufacturer: Total Finishing Supplies

Part Number: 75525

Comparable OEM Part Number: 25D175

Description: Total Finishing’s part # 20-3407 is a direct-fit replacement for the throat packing set used in GRACO® Xtreme and e 145 TFE/PE airless spray equipment. Throat packings create a dynamic seal around the pump rod, preventing fluid bypass and maintaining system pressure during spraying operations. Pump rebuild specialists and spray equipment service technicians rely on this packing set when reconditioning worn pump assemblies or responding to pressure loss failures in the field.

This TFE/PE composition packing set withstands the thermal and mechanical demands of high-pressure fluid circulation while resisting common coating materials and solvents encountered in professional spray applications. Proper throat packing installation is critical to equipment reliability and job site efficiency.

Common reasons for replacement:

• Visible fluid seepage around the pump rod during or after spraying cycles
• Gradual pressure drop during operation despite adequate pump prime and filter maintenance
• Scoring or wear marks on the pump rod indicating packing degradation
• Fluid contamination in the rod cavity, requiring full packing renewal as part of preventive rebuild service

Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
