Aftermarket GRACO® 189588 Gland, female, piston (Non-OEM)

Manufacturer: Total Finishing Supplies

Part Number: 568764

Comparable OEM Part Number: 189588

Description: Total Finishing’s part # 18-2256 is a compatible replacement for GRACO® parts 189588 and 189-588, a female gland for GRACO® spray equipment. The female gland is the cupped ring that seats one end of the V-packing stack in the pump’s fluid section; paired with its male counterpart it keeps the packings compressed so they seal around the piston rod under pressure. Compatible with GRACO® 7900 HD IronMan, 7900 HD ProContractor, APX 8200 (Chrome), APX 8200 (MaxLife), GM 7000, GMAX II 7900 (2014+) and other GRACO® equipment.

Common reasons for replacement:

• Grooving or corrosion on the gland face after long service
• Renewed along with new packings during a pump repack
• Fluid leaking past the packings even after tightening
• Pressure drop from a packing stack that no longer seats squarely

Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
