Aftermarket GRACO® 157630 Replacement Spring, Tapered Compression (Non-OEM)
Manufacturer: Total Finishing Supplies
Part Number: 472890
Comparable OEM Part Number: 157630
Description: Total Finishing’s part # 23-1646 is a compatible replacement for GRACO® parts 157630 and 157-630 — the spring used in GRACO® spray equipment. This spring keeps its valve components loaded against their seats, so the valve closes crisply on every cycle instead of drifting or chattering. Spring steel fatigues gradually — tension loss shows up as inconsistent operation long before the spring visibly fails. Compatible with GRACO® 1:1 Fast-Ball and Standard Air Motor.
Common reasons for replacement:
- Inconsistent valve action as spring tension fades
- Ball or poppet chatter from a weakened spring
- Collapsed or kinked coils found during teardown
- Renewed as cheap insurance during any valve rebuild
Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
Comparable to GRACO® 157-630
