Manufacturer: Total Finishing Supplies

Part Number: 52734

Comparable OEM Part Number: 17A578

Description: Total Finishing’s part # 20-3198 is a direct-fit replacement for GRACO® 17A-578, a comprehensive pump repair kit engineered for GMax II 7900 and TexSpray 7900 / Mark X airless sprayers. This kit enables spray equipment technicians, pump rebuild specialists, and professional painting contractors to restore full operational capacity to these high-volume coating systems without sourcing individual components separately.

GMax II 7900 and TexSpray 7900 / Mark X pumps rely on precise internal clearances and wear-resistant packings to maintain pressure consistency and fluid delivery during extended production runs. A properly executed rebuild using factory-equivalent kit components restores both performance and reliability, extending equipment lifespan and reducing downtime on job sites and in service shops.

Common reasons for replacement:

• Pressure loss, erratic spray patterns, or reduced fluid output indicating internal pump wear or seal degradation
• Leakage from pump rod or manifold interfaces requiring fresh packings, O-rings, and dynamic seals
• Fluid contamination events or seasonal maintenance cycles triggering proactive pump rebuilds
• Material incompatibility or hardened packings following exposure to aggressive coatings or extended idle periods

Manufactured to OEM-equivalent dimensions for proper fit and performance.
